Come learn how to upcycle a sweater into a beautiful purse or tote. Cashmere, merino wool, and lambswool sweaters make for fashionable autumn or winter accessories. Needle felting adds a touch of wool embroidery that makes for a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art. 

Participant Materials and Requirements: Please bring a cashmere, merino wool, or lambswool sweater to be upcycled, and thread that matches the sweater. Bring a color image of a flower or other simple design to use as a pattern for your felted appliqué. No previous needle felting experience required. Basic sewing skills required. Sewing machines provided.
