Feral Fine Arts offers a variety of art instruction for all ages. With a 28 year history of teaching globally, we are wholeheartedly dedicated to arts education.
INSTRUCTION RATES

Class and program costs are charged on a per person basis. Materials and travel costs vary and will be added at our discretion. We rent spaces from schools, organizations, and businesses hourly. We are insured to work in a variety of locations with our arts education trained instructors. Running our arts programming, staff, admin, marketing and registration independently creates the most ease and efficiency for all involved. Therefore our independent contracting work availability for schools and organizations is limited.
Profit sharing with farmers is available for all of our outdoor seasonal Wild Child Arts Education kids camps. In addition, we pay per week to stay onsite in our mobile “kids camp camper”. With an outdoor classroom setup, we are able to run many programs off grid throughout the Pacific Northwest. Think of us as the Mary Poppins of kids camps.
Discounts and sliding scale fees are available to those who receive our newsletter for community classes and kids programs. First access to registration is given to families and students who have signed up in years past. Scholarships are offered one time per family/student when possible for kids afterschool programs, kids camps, and community classes. Reduced hourly rates are available on a case by case basis.
WILD CHILD ARTS EDUCATION
Wild Child Arts Education encompasses our youth driven programming. Featuring ages 4+ and 7+ customizable after school programs at public schools, private schools, and homeschool groups. We also offer kids art classes for playgroups, events and festivals all over. Private youth tutoring is available.
Afterschool program sessions have 1 class/week on the same day for 6-8 weeks. Let us know if you need a session extension. We will accommodate when able. (i.e. 3-5pm on Mondays for 10 weeks during the Fall). Afterschool programs run for 2 hours. Base hourly rate is $11.25/pp. Drop-in day tickets are $25 and pre paid week tickets range from $135-180.
Kids camps range from 4-6 hours/day for a week with a 4 hour minimum. These are offered seasonally and during holiday breaks. Our 2023 camp prices range from $225-360/pp but will be increasing in 2024.
Kids art classes range from 15 min-6 hrs. Booking is available year round but limited during kids camp programming. Base hourly rate is $20/pp. Kids art classes hourly instruction prices range from $5-120/pp.
Private youth tutoring can help advance new or old skills. Book 2-4 hours for tutoring at our art studio. With a 2 hour minimum and base instructor hourly rate of $40-45/hr. Private tutoring instruction charges range from $90-160/pp.
COMMUNITY EDUCATION
Feral Fine Arts offers both adult only classes and all ages family classes. We teach in stores, for organizations, at retreats, reunions, festivals, faires, and at gatherings. Private classes and tutoring are available.
Community classes and workshops range from 15 min-8 hrs based on project. Base hourly rate is $20/pp. Community class hourly instruction prices range from $5-160/pp.
Private classes are customized to each group. Providing art activities for birthday parties, family gatherings, and groups. Projects require 1.5-8 hours. Base hourly rate is $20/pp. Private class hourly instruction prices range from $30-160/pp.
Private adult tutoring can help advance new or old skills. Book 2-4 hours for tutoring at instructor Mikal’s art studio. With a 2 hour minimum and base instructor hourly rate for $40-45/hr. Private adult tutoring charges range from $90-160/pp.
CUSTOM WORK
Custom work is billed at $45/hr plus cost of materials and shipping. This includes all jewelry, costumes, and alterations. As well as all felt garments, hats, accessories, paintings, kits and needle felted creatures and objects. Time availability varies during the year. Springtime is best. Must book directly with a partial deposit first. There are no refunds or returns on custom work. Although if there are any repairs necessary, cost of time will be covered by Feral Fine Arts.
COMMUNITY SPONSORS
Sponsor Youth and Adults and give the gift of art to your community. Tickets can be purchased for kids camp sponsorships that make a day or a week possible for a family in need. Consider sponsoring adult day classes and workshops. As this allows folks in need to join us while covering materials costs and paying our teachers a living wage.
